This morning she called me back and asked me what was different about last week. I told her we had a family reunion and lots of family get togethers and I brought all my own food but that we ate Thai food since I assumed I could eat coconut milk, vegetables, shrimp, and rice.
I received a few lashings and quite frankly wanted to reach through my phone and punch the lady. She is so fabulous and I know she is on my side but she told me I need to drop more weight before I eat rice and beans anymore. I wanted to punch someone so she was an easy target.
I was given pretty clear guidelines: no dairy, no chicken, no eggs, no tuna, no red meat, no sugar, no cashews, no macademia nuts, and no bread. Only consume strawberries, blueberries, apples, and grapefruits and avoid processed food like the plague.
I thought Thai food fit in beautifully with those guidelines!
Guess not. She told me no more exercise, even walking, until I drop 10 pounds.
This is what I can eat now until further notice:
Breakfast: 1 C almond or soy milk, 1 scoop of ulra inflammX, 1/4 banana, 1/4 C strawberries, 1 C spinach
Snack: Repeat the breakfast menu
Lunch: 3 oz lean protein, 2-3 Cups of leafy vegetables
Snack: Apple, or 1/2 C strawberries, or 1/2 grapefruit
Dinner: 4 oz lean protein, 2-3 Cups of vegetables.
Why does being the fat kid for life suddenly sound way more awesome than drinking this crap?

Oh Steph! I am so sorry you are feeling so burdened right now! You look cute in the pics;) Hopefully with time it will become easier and not so stressful. Hang in there!
ReplyDeleteHey get something you can punch as hard and as often as you want. I bet it would help to actually go through with the desire to punch;)
Wow, you have an amazing amount of will power. I would have punched the lady and got some ice cream. :) You will find something, and if not you can join me in just being fat and making the best of it. I have some really bad weeks and really good weeks. The scale is gone, and I still workout because it makes me feel good and I'm too scared not to. And I have a great roadbike, and enjoy doing 5K's. I wish you the best. Come visit Boise any time!
ReplyDeleteAwww, Stephanie! That doesn't sound like any fun at all. I have selective allergies to vegetables...I would die. So, you are my hero! YOU CAN DO THIS! And want me to find the lady and get her for you? I totally will. And then I'll of course give her a hug after so she feels a little better. :)
