See ya Tony

So wanna know how P90X is going?

Thought so.

It's not.

The sun was shining and I couldn't bring myself to do push ups and pull ups inside so this week I did a 4 mile walk/jog,  45 minute jog on a trail, mountain biked for 2 hours, hiked, and completed a fitness course at a park.

All activities were way more fun than hanging with Tony Horton.

My dear friend Tricia (Former roommate, hiking partner, running partner, mountain bike partner, camping partner, and all things healthy partner) lives about 17 minutes away. She called me one day to say she had quit cross fit and wanted to know if I needed a work out partner.

DUH! I always need a workout partner. My workout partners either move, lose motivation, change schedules, or I do one of those things and then I'm alone and depressed that I have no one to work out with.

Tricia just had a baby in February and our schedules work out perfectly because she has to be home at 7:45AM to feed her baby, and I have to be back home by 8:30 to start work. She's moving further North at the end of August so I really want to maximize our time together while we're still so close!

Tricia is just a delight and one of the healthiest people I know. So far we have hiked and completed the fitness course at Murray Park. Next week we plan to road bike on Monday, lap swim on Tuesday, hike on Wednesday, strength train on Thursday, and then Murray Park fitness course again on Friday. There is a triathlon in August that we'd like to do if we can and we'd also like to sign up for a 5K in July.

Doesn't she look A-M-A-Z-I-N-G for just having had a baby in February!! (C-section even!)

Whoever thought that leggings would be 100% more flattering than my wide leg gauchos? Go back to the yellow shirt photo and tell me I don't look like humpty dumpty in my gauchos alright?
