Ok this is the beginning of a new week and hopefully a week of more exercise. I just love how much energy I have and how much clearer my mind works when I exercise. I have a bad habit of thinking if I don't exercise for at least 45 minutes it doesn't count. That's the dumbest thing! Of course I would LOVE to exercise 60 minutes 6 days a week but sometimes it just ain't happenin. I have looked at my schedule and the workout classes at the gym. Instead of just saying I'm going to exercise everyday I'm going to make a schedule for myself. In order for this schedule to work I'm going to have to clean my house at night so in the morning I'm not trying to clean to avoid exercise. This will take some effort and planning. I have decided that if I meet my exercise goal I'm going to buy a new fancy notebook to use as my "thoughts and feelings" journal. I already have one in mind and a gift card to Office Max so it won't cost me any money. I reserve the right to change my mind about a class and exchange it for something like a swim if I'm not feeling like a class, as long as I get 30 minutes of exercise a day I get my notebook.
Monday- 1st choice- Muscle Plus class at 6:00 am. If I resent my alarm clock I will walk/jog for 30 minutes before my voice lesson in SLC
Tuesday- Definitely Zumba at 9:00
Wednesday- 1st choice is yoga @ 6:30 am second choice will be spin at 8:15am
Thursday- ZUMBA! with my favorite instructor at 9:30
Friday- Killer step aerobics
Saturday It's my anniversary so my workout will remain a private activity with my husband.
Ok if any of you want to write out a schedule with a few options and you stick to it let me know and we'll all see if we can reach our goal for the week!
I did this last week (or the week before?) and was so much better at working out. This Sunday was crazy nutso so I didn't plan it out, but I can post it tonight. Maybe we can both post them Sunday nights?
