Isn't it amazing what being REALLY productive can do for your mood? I feel like a new personal already. I can't believe it has already been a week since poor little Forte had to be put to sleep, but at least the river of tears has ceased.
I love to fly by the seat of my pants but there's a part of me the CRAVES structure and organization. I'm not an organized person. I'm not a tidy person. I'm not stressed out by huge messes. Dan was having an anxiety attack when that Bounty paper towel commercial came on- you know, the one where the little kid is using the mixer and batter is flying anywhere? Me- wasn't even phased. I thought that looked like a good time. (Must be why the nieces and nephews like to come decorate cookies at my house)
ANYWAY. I made a pretty sweet menu for the next 4 weeks. I included breakfast, lunch, and dinner on the menu and a shopping list for each week. So far so good! My total for groceries was $51.69 and I had estimated the total to be $51.64. Now THAT is what I call good planning!
People are floored that we only spend $50-$60 a week on groceries, but we do and we eat pretty darn well.
All the meal planning has taken away a lot of my stress and I've eaten a lot healthier as well.
Plus I THINK I almost have a legit baby bump. Thus far, any growth around the mid-section was 100% me and not baby related. Although I'm certain the baby is located about 6-8 inches below this bulge, I'm going to call it an official baby bump. If this is 100% Stephanie bump, don't burst my bubble and tell me I just look chubby, alright?
Onward and upward we go. Hoping to do some more organization and sifting through all the junk taking up space in the basement...
You are amazing, and I love your baby bump!!!!
