All for NOTHIN!

I knew it!

I knew.

I knew it.

I knew it.

I knew it wasn't normal to gain 6 pounds the one week you don't exercise for 5 days! It's happened before but seriously, nothing seems to phase me anymore.

I knew it wasn't normal to feel so exhausted and cloudy and wake up with headaches every day.

I knew I shouldn't be feeling so depressed and sensitive all the time.

I knew I shouldn't want to bite so many people's heads off all the time.

I knew it wasn't normal to cry one night because my husband didn't have dinner on the table when I got home.

Apparently my thyroid is mega low, like three times lower than it was 4 months ago. I guess having a miscarriage really jacks up the hormones.

We've had no luck conceiving a child the past three months either but I wasn't getting worried or anything because I know it can take awhile for most people. My doctor said my thryoid is so hypo that she would be very surprised if I was even ovulating, so I guess all those sexy nights, charting, and cutting out of the caffeine and soda was all for NOTHIN. Well, not all for nothin, because hey, who doesn't love trying to make a baby? That's the fun part.

Trying to lose weight with no metabolism or hormone regulation AND trying to get pregnant with no eggs. haha. Love it. No wonder I was failing miserably.

Nothing a little more medication can't fix. She said I should be getting back to the normal range in a couple months, maybe even 6 weeks so here's to a bigger dose of synthroid. cheers!

Let's see if I can return to "normal" by summer time.

  1. WOW! I'm SOOOOO happy they have it figured out! Sounds like a lot of fun! Hahah! (Okay...not laughing. But seriously, the dinner and the husband thing was so cute!) I hope you get feeling back to normal soon, Steph! Hormone imbalance is such a pain in the butt! Sometimes I feel like Dr. Jekyl and Mr. Hyde, I swear. Hang in there!!!

  2. Question? Would you be willing to see an iridologist? Located in I.F. She is amazing! Some of the things you are talking about are things I have had success with and my cousin and many friends have had amazing results all naturally remedied! That is the best part of this for me! Her name is Sharon Jensen she is based in Arco, Id. I know Arco, really? But she does I.F. appointments as well. The office she works from in town is with a Chiropractor and her # is 552-5555. She books fast. I sent my husband and am slowly getting all my kids in to see her! Let me know:) I have not been "regular" in over a year, I saw her in January when she put me on some herbs. I am finally regular again. I am so excited!!!! Sorry if that is TMI;)
